Welcome to Rising Sun Massage Therapy professional home-based Clinic located at 18409 65th ave in Cloverdale. Street parking is available should you need it. The entrance is accessed at the back of the house. You may enter from the front gate following the signs to the back OR from the back alley again following the signs to the stairs leading to the basement entrance. Please note that, unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible.

PLEASE NOTE: We offer direct billing to most insurance companies such as Pacific Blue Cross, Sunlife, Manulife, Green Shield Canada, Empire Life, Canada Life, Equitable Life, Rwam, IA Finanical Group and many more. We do NOT accept ICBC claims at this time. A credit card on file will be required to book an appointment. All payments not covered by extended health benefits can be paid using the credit card on file or etransfer. We do not accept debit at this time.

Massage Therapy is a hands on treatment approach provided by Registered Massage Therapist who are regulated with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.

The hands on treatments help to prevent, maintain and rehabilitate physical dysfunction, injury, pain and disorders of soft tissue and joints of the body by manipulation, mobilization and other manual methods. In addition to this, massage therapy helps to reduce stress, anxiety and help to improve sleeping patterns, restlessness, digestive issues and circulation.

Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing

Enjoy a unique fusion of serenity in our Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing class. Unwind with the guided meditation of Yoga Nidra, while surrounded by harmonious vibrations of sound therapy. Allow these practices to bring about a state of deep relaxation, peace and inner balance.

Sherry Browman

Sherry graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in April 2019 with honours. Sherry Completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2023. She shares great passion and enthusiasm in providing rehabilitation and treatment plans with her clients. Sherry’s goal is to develop a well rounded treatment plan and promote the return to optimal pain-free function. Her preferred modalities include swedish massage combining with neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilization, active movement modalities, kinesiology taping, hot and cold stone therapy, PNF Stretching (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation), MET (Muscle Energy Technique), IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) and Visceral Manipulation.

Conditions she has treated are (but not limited to), TMJ dysfunction (intra-oral treatment), rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis, postural dysfunctions, sports related injuries, tension headaches, systemic conditions and many more.

Sherry has been practicing yoga for more than 12 years and in 2023 completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. As a means to deepen her own yoga practice and share share the knowledge with others.
